Commissions

Last Saturday at the Craft Fayre in Keppoch Street I met an extra-ordinary man, Jack Davies, he is a knitter and was very interested in yarn bowls. I had already been commissioned to produce these bowls but was very excited and honoured to be "singled" out.

I will publish some photos when completed. Unfortunately the drying stage of things will take a little longer as they have to be quite thick.

  1. Hello there!

I've been reading about your wonderful yarn bowls on Ravelry (and seeing the gorgeous pics too!). I would really like to buy one from you when they're ready - will you be selling any by mail order? If not, I'll have to prevail upon the good nature of one of my fellow Ravelers to see if they could buy me one and then post it to me!

I shall be following your blog now with anticipation!

    Best,
    Nicole x

  2. I too found out about you via Ravelry and love the look of your bowls! So I'm officially joining the yarn bowl queueing crew!

I've not trekked over to the craft market yet, but I hope to wander over with my family when the yarn bowls are unveiled, so please please do keep us updated!

    Thanks,
    Ellie

  3. Hi Nicole and ellie, thank you for your kind words on the yarn bowls, I am continuing to make them but unfortunately they are not suitable for posting. I am at the Mackintosh Craft Fayre every Saturday morning, so if you do want one call in and have a chat. I have also just set up a website www.whitchurchpottery.webs.com where you can see my products and order if you wish. Cheers
