The learning years.........

Over the next couple of years I had some successes but lots of failures..... practice makes uuuuum should be perfect but not quite sure!

In the beginning.......

I started pottery as a hobby in 2005 in night school at the Howardian Adult Education Centre, once a week, while still in full time work.

We learnt the art of coiling, pinch pots, slab building, the use of moulds and the throwing on a wheel. We also learnt the processes of firing various clays and also the use of glazes and slip.
