Hi all, well they say its 100 days to Christmas........ well what are you all waiting for get ordering your Christmas tree decorations, they take about 2 weeks to produce so don't miss out!!! I think the cost will be £2 for the singles and £3 for the doubles. You can buy online from my website but you will have to collect them from the Mackintosh Craft Fayre in Keppoch Street, Roath as they are not really suitable for posting. Sorry.

Christmas is coming..........
Well we are half way through the year which means Christmas is just around the corner...... how very sad! But it does also mean that I should start thinking of things to produce. I am trying out some Christmas tree decorations, tealight candle holders, gift tags etc.
Any ideas out there would be greatly appreciated and of course any commissions.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Until next time.......

The news so far.........
Since setting up the workshop at home and then acquiring the kiln, potting has become an important part of my life. Selling regularly on Saturday mornings at the Mackintosh Art and Craft Centre has enabled me to meet lots of new people, fellow crafters and of course most importantly customers and their commissions. Their website is www.racmac.webs.com come and visit us.
My next big occasion is at the Celtic Manor Report on Friday 20th August 2010, where the Toyota Green car is being launched and then at Abergavenny Market on Thursday 14th October 2010.
Ellie and Nichole thank you for your kind words regarding the yarn bowls unfortunately they are not suitable for posting but I am sure we could work something out. I have recently set up a website, www.whitchurchpottery.webs.com which shows an example of my work and includes a page enabling you to comment, advise or even order a commission!
Thank you to all my current customers and looking forward to meeting new ones.

Commissions
Last Saturday at the Craft Fayre in Keppoch Street I met an extra-ordinary man, Jack Davies, he is a knitter and was very interested in yarn bowls. I had already been commissioned to produce these bowls but was very excited and honoured to be "singled" out.
I will publish some photos when completed. Unfortunately the drying stage of things will take a little longer as they have to be quite thick.

2010
Hi all, 2010 has started very well on the pottery front, with lots of new glazes to try and my "valentine" bought me a second-hand kiln, which is working very well.
3 weeks ago I set up a small stall at the Mackintosh Community Centre Craft Fayre and as a result have sold lots of items. I have also had 3 commissions, a fruit bowl, some yarn pots and a plate. So a big THANK YOU to all my customers so far.
